Integrate AfterShip Reviews With Klaviyo

Overview



By integrating AfterShip Reviews with your Klaviyo account, you can check all submitted reviews and NPS scores effortlessly. You’ll see the Latest review rating, Last review date, Number of reviews submitted, Latest NPS score, Last NPS date, and Number of NPS submitted in Klaviyo custom properties. This guide explains how to do integration.

Please note that only new data will be synced after the integration.

Generate Klaviyo private API key



Private API Key is used when you want to grant access to sensitive data from your AfterShip Reviews account to your Klaviyo account.

Generate Klaviyo private API key to allow Klaviyo to access data from your AfterShip reviews accounts to trigger reviews campaigns.

Go to Settings in your Klaviyo admin
Move to API keys under Accounts tab
Click Create Private API Key


Give your private API key a name
Set the Access Level to Custom Key
Configure the API scopes

Click Create
Copy the API key and download the .txt file for later use and hit Done



Integrate AfterShip Reviews with Klaviyo



Go to Apps in your AfterShip Reviews admin
Select View more apps and choose Klaviyo from the integration library > Click Install app



Select an organization to install this app on and click Connect
In the integration form, you need to fill in a few details for a successful connection, including,
Store URL
Klaviyo Public API key
Klaviyo Private API key



You can find your Private API key and Public API key here.

Click Install app

You will see the integration status on the Apps page like this




Create segments in Klaviyo



Log in to your Klaviyo account > Navigate to Lists & Segments
Click Create List/Segment present under Audience > Select Segment



Enter the required details and click Create Segment

Tip: You can create multiple segments for different purposes. For example:

Create a segment for positive feedback and use it to send thank you, reward, or cross-sell emails


Create a segment for negative feedback and use it to send apology emails



Send follow-up emails using Klaviyo



Well, you can use the Flows feature of Klaviyo to follow-up emails. Here are the steps:

Access your Klaviyo account > Go to Flows
Click Create Flow > Select Create From Scratch
Enter a name and tags (optional) and click Create Flow



Choose Metric as a trigger and then select Submitted AfterShip NPS and Submitted AfterShip Review. We've selected Submitted AfterShip Review as an example



Choose Trigger split as a logic and set its configuration to split customers based on the positive and negative reviews



Select email as an action for both Yes and No paths. Make sure you've set email content for both paths properly



Once done, go to Update Action Statuses and choose Live from the dropdown menu of Action status
